A Little Encouragement

Today I was mindlessly looking through my facebook feed, to not think about what I am currently facing in my life, when I stumbled upon a post by Prodigal Daughter. It read:

"God knows your pain, counts your tears and is intimately aware of your sorrow, He will never forsake you and you're not walking this road alone.

What does the Bible say about this?

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:4

You keep track of all my sorrows.

You have collected all my tears in your bottle.

You have recorded each one in your book. Psalm 56:8

Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! Psalm 126:5

For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Revelation7:17"

Some days, like today, are extra hard. Sometimes we need a reminder that we aren't alone. We are stronger than we think and after this hardship, we will rise above and be even stronger!

I know this is not something that seems plausible during the hard times. Trust me, I know. I have had my fair share of hardship, and let me tell you, it can either make or break you. I made the decision early on, that I would never let situations change me for the bad. I refuse to become cold, hard or ungrateful. This isn't easy at all, and I have to remind myself of this fact everyday, sometimes multiple times a day. But the fact is, I won't be anything but strong. I am a survivor. I have made it thus far, and I am now more fulfilled and happier than I've ever been.

My advice for making it this far: Stay grounded. Stay grateful. Take it day by day and if you have to, minute by minute. Ask for help. Don't pretend to be okay when you aren't. Be real with your struggles and your blessings. Pray hard and pray lots. Lastly, always stay true to yourself because those that matter won't mind and those that mind don't matter.

I am always here for anyone who needs to an ear to listen. Like I have said before, my story isn't perfect. I am not perfect. But if I can help anyone in anyway, I am here to do so!! You don't have to do this on your own!!
